Science homework - starting with a low-power objective lens instead of a high-power lens - WHY? - slide microscopes frustrating and disappointing

Please help me - I have this question in my science homework, I can not decipher. So the table is known in the microscope, and the question is: "Why do you always start with the low power objective lens in a slide mounted specimens to lay, even if you plan to observe a higher aim to energy? "I do not understand it all - the teacher has never said anything of the lens, high performance and low. It makes me frustrated ... Please answer the question, please help me!

Developed under the objective to show the details in the microscope, and it is much easier to focus on the goal of high achievement, or even focus the lens of low power
