Plague On Tongue Do Christians Still Believe In The Gift Of Tongues?

Do Christians still believe in the gift of tongues? - plague on tongue

I was raised Catholic, and looked different Christian groups. I went to a non-denominational Christian assembly, and as my gift of tongues, looked at me as if I had a fever ... Just wondering.

Yes, definitely. The gift of languages is one way that (we communicate with God as only he can understand) what you say. I'm not saying that speaking in tongues is the only way to talk, but it is a gift you gave him. Sorry if this sounds confusing, I can not really explain what I'm trying to say.

Yes, I think most of them. But it is so bad in many ways. The Bible says that tongues are for the edification of the faithful, and should always have an interpreter. Always use an orderly manner. I was at a workshop of Joyce Meyer, as soon as everyone started chattering incohenerently around me, I was scared to death. This is not the right use thereof.

PS And do not cotton, not his teaching.

Yes believe, yes, but not all Christian churches, or want to talk. Pentecostals seem to be more outward with it. I am Lutheran, and some people in my church have the gift, but not in worship. It is mostly a private matter between you and God, a way of talking to God in prayer, in a speech given by God.

Some do.

I'm not sure if I - I think that is something that is very hard to believe, unless you are experienced or seen someone do. Apparently one of the girls in my youth group spoke in tongues once .. I do not know if it's true, I was not there.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, but surely:)

Many Catholics, most of the Saints reported such experiences made.
Appellations of fractions of an often suspicious towards the Catholic tradition.
